Embroidery is the better option for example, when it comes to wanting a professional, clean looking attire for your office staff. It also looks great on decorative pillows, or personalized towels in your home.
Home Laundering
- We recommend all embroidered items to be washed with a mild detergent, in cold water and on a delicate wash cycle.
- Do not use chlorine bleach or any optical brightening agents, this will deteriorate the thread. If you absolutely need to use bleach, we recommend using a non- chlorine bleach, according to that products instructions.
- We recommend removing items immediately after each wash cycle completion, you never want to leave an embroidered item soaking in water or lying with other wet clothing.
- Dry on a normal drying setting.
- Do not wring out or rub any stains out of embroidered items, by doing so you can compromise the strength of the thread.
Ironing
- We recommend embroidered fabrics should always be ironed on the reverse side of the image itself.
- We recommend ironing the embroidered item between two pieces of cloth.
- We do not recommend wetting the embroidered item prior to ironing or to use a steam iron.
Dry Cleaning, is okay as long as the item is handled delicately by a professional. No spot treatments are recommended on the embroidery itself.
